Amarjeet Kr. Thakur, who is more popular as Amarjeet Gnarly among social activists, change makers, environmentalists, and peacekeepers, is a champion of strong people culture. His drive for increased diversity and inclusiveness has been recognized across the globe with great appreciation.

Based on Gnarly (Global Network for Active and Responsible Leadership amongst Youths) Troop’s inspirational journey over the last nine years, it can be firmly said that Amarjeet has all those leadership skills and mindset which help him harness bridge-building opportunities by keeping himself intact with the Gnarly Troop’s global mission.

Amarjeet is an impactful thought leader who encourages and motivates youths to make strides for positive changes in society and lead the world towards sustainable growth and development. He founded Gnarly Troop, a non-profit organization, in 2013, and since then, troops have been busy transforming the lives of underprivileged people, protecting the environment, preserving cultures, and encouraging communities towards sustainable development goals using the 4C model. Developed and incorporated into the organisation’s vision by Amarjeet, the 4Cs stand for Climate, Community, Culture, and Cooperation.

Amarjeet is the author of the books – Emptiness of Pride (Published) and Tihar to Parliament (to be released soon). He is named an undisputed leader from the very outset of his career. A man with a good academic record who graduated from Banaras Hindu University (India) and is also equipped with CA Intermediate (IPCC) is well-suited for a challenging professional role which demands accountability, an innovative acumen, and indomitable work spirit. His recent interview with The Financial Express about adopted village and transforming the lives of 300 families in Bihar, is just representing that how he has conceptualized and conducted various youth focused programs both domestically and internationally that promote acceptance, understanding and equality.

Though the list of Amarjeet’s successful endeavours is quite long, the most distinguished credit that goes into his name is GT20 Summit. The first GT20 Summit was held in Delhi in the presence of many renowned delegates from 20 different countries, including ambassadors, diplomats, professors, scientists, judges, young leaders, CEOs of public and private companies, entrepreneurs, global leaders, social workers, and youth icons. The Summit was a huge success in meeting its purpose. Now, the second edition of the GT20 Summit is going to be hosted in Kathmandu in October, 2023.

Amarjeet Gnarly has been trying his best of abilities with youth from prestigious institutions to eliminate indifference, intolerance and injustice through dialogues and discourses between young influencers from across the world. For this initiative the Gnarly Troop Global Federation has been considering the youths for International Internship and Volunteering Abroad Programs with the concept of “think globally and act locally”.
