Volunteer Scholarship Terms and Conditions

1. Information about the scholarship and how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. By applying for this scholarship, you agree to be bound by these conditions of entry and all decisions of the program promoter (“GoEco”), which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. The program and these conditions of entry are void where prohibited by law. Any changes to these conditions of entry will be published on the GoEco website at www.gnarlytroop.org.
2. The promoter is GoEco Limited (513816082), 69 Bograshov Street, Tel Aviv, Israel.
3.  Employees of GoEco Limited (513816082) and their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and members of their immediate families or households, are ineligible to apply for this scholarship.
4. There is no charge to apply for the scholarship. The applicant must be 18 years of age or older at the closure of nominations (31 May 2019, 11:59 PM EST) and hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Scholarship applications will only be accepted via the online application. The application form must be completed in full, including contact details, along with answers to applicable questions.
5. The scholarship nominations can be submitted from 17 June 2019 until 31 December 2019 at 11:59 PM (EST). Nominations are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by GoEco and GoEco records are conclusive as to the time of receipt. All dates are subject to change as necessary and at the sole discretion of GoEco.
6. Once the application acceptance period closes on 31 December 2019, GoEco’s expert panel of international judges will select the recipient of the scholarship. Video Skype interviews may be required to assist in selection. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in regards to this decision.
7. The successful applicant will receive the following:
•    Waiver of GoEco registration fee and one-week GoEco program fee
8. The scholarship funding cannot be refunded, transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash.
9. The recipient must begin the volunteer program before 31 December 2020.
10.Upon acceptance of the scholarship, the recipient agrees to submit a blog about their volunteer  experience (within two months of completing the program) that is at least 1,000 words and contains at least four, high quality images of the experience that will be published on GoEco’s website and media channels.
11. The scholarship recipient will be notified via email or phone in the beginning of January 2020 and the recipients’ names may be published on the GoEco website.
12. If the scholarship recipient has not accepted the scholarship within 7 days, the next best suited applicant will be selected as the scholarship recipient. 
13. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected submissions or any errors or failures on the part of the internet or other communications. GoEco reserves the right to cancel or modify the scholarship promotion if, in its sole discretion, the administration of the scholarship promotion is impaired for technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control and, in such an event, may select the scholarship recipient from all valid entries received prior to the impairment.
14. The scholarship recipient will be responsible for covering the costs associated with traveling to the volunteer program, which includes but is not limited to flights, visas, vaccinations, criminal background check and spending money.
15. The Competition and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of Israel.
16. By applying for the scholarship, you consent to being entered into a database and GoEco may use this information for future email promotions and marketing purposes, which you can choose to opt out of at any time. Furthermore, competition entrants consent that their emails may be used by any scholarship partners for future email promotions and marketing purposes.
